The Impact You’ll Be Contributing to Moloco:
Reporting to the VP of Business Development, MCM, the Head of Strategic Growth, APAC will lead Moloco's Strategic Growth team across the region. While supporting retailers and marketplaces throughout APAC, the team is primarily based in Seoul and partners closely with regional Sales, Product, and Engineering leaders This role is responsible for helping Moloco Commerce Media customers build, launch, and scale successful commerce media businesses. Acting as a trusted strategic advisor to senior customer executives, the team helps define commerce media strategy, operating models, advertiser growth initiatives, and long-term business success.
Beyond customer engagement, this leader will play a key role in shaping Moloco's MCM business in APAC by bringing together customer insights, market trends, and commercial priorities to influence product strategy, regional investments, and go-to-market execution.
The Opportunity:
Lead and develop the APAC Strategic Growth team
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Strategic Growth Managers and Directors across APAC.
- Set clear priorities, operating rhythms, and standards for strategic customer engagement and delivery.
- Foster a culture of high ownership, intellectual rigor, collaboration, and continuous development.
- Support the team in navigating complex customer situations, executive relationships, and strategic decisions.
Drive customer growth and business outcomes
- Enable retailers and marketplaces to build scalable commerce media businesses while accelerating advertising revenue growth.
- Partner with customer executives to define commerce media strategies, business plans, operating models, and go-to-market priorities.
- Help customers identify and execute the highest-impact growth levers across both advertiser demand and supply.
- Lead strategic engagements, executive meetings, and business reviews for Moloco's most important APAC partnerships.
Build trusted, long-term customer partnerships
- Develop enduring relationships with senior stakeholders across business and technology organizations.
- Position Moloco and the Strategic Growth team as trusted advisors on commerce media strategy and business growth.
- Develop a deep understanding of each customer's business model, market dynamics, organizational priorities, and growth strategy.
- Anticipate customer needs, identify partnership risks early, and mobilize the right Moloco resources to address them.
Shape the APAC MCM business
- Partner closely with cross-functional leaders across Moloco to deliver a cohesive customer experience.
- Represent the voice of APAC customers, identifying recurring needs and influencing product and go-to-market priorities.
- Monitor market developments, competitive dynamics, and customer trends to identify strategic opportunities and risks.
- Establish scalable operating models and best practices that can be applied across APAC and Moloco's global MCM business.
What You'll Bring
- 12+ years of relevant experience, including experience leading high-performing customer-facing teams and delivering measurable commercial or operational outcomes.
- Experience spanning strategy consulting, ad tech, retail, commerce media, or enterprise technology businesses.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience developing business strategies, go-to-market plans, and revenue growth initiatives.
- Demonstrated success advising executive stakeholders and building trusted relationships with large, complex enterprise customers.
- Deep understanding of digital advertising, performance advertising, retail media, or marketplace monetization.
- Strong analytical rigor, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear business decisions, executive recommendations, and communications.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively across Product, Engineering, Sales, and other cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with ML- and AI-enabled products and communicating their value to business stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-growing global environment, creating structure while navigating ambiguity.
- Based in Seoul, with fluency in both Korean and English.
