Responsibilities
We are looking for high quality talent to join Bernstein’s premier Equity Research platform in Asia. We are recruiting for full-time Research Associates for the Asian Industrial Technology team. Our research teams are typically only two or three professionals; therefore, you will have a high level of responsibility and be empowered to make an important contribution.
Asian Industrial Tech team's research focuses on factory automation, Robotics, and Physical AI with a global perspective. As a Research Associate of this team you will:
Acquire expertise in Asian Industrial Tech working with a Senior Analyst who is a seasoned industr
y expert
Become adept at in-depth analysis of Asian Industrial Tech's industry and companies
Contribute to our highly differentiated written product
Build relationships with company managements as well as sales, trading, and institutional clients
We make a strong commitment to Associate development and will give you opportunities to gain visibility and incremental responsibility over time. Profile required
Our Research Associates typically possess:
Advanced degree in physical sciences and engineering is strongly preferred (e.g. Master's and PhD)
Track records of outstanding academic performance from leading educational institutions
Basic to advanced financial modelling skills including confident knowledge of Excel and/or experience of analyzing financial companies (may have credentials such as the CFA, ACA or CPA)
Native fluency in Mandarin Chinese and business proficiency in English required with outstanding verbal and written communication
Familiarity with Bloomberg and WIND is an advantage
Relentless intellectual curiosity and a drive to excel at the highest level
Team player mindset seeking a highly rigorous and collegial environment for their career development
Strong candidates with more experience may be considered for a Senior Research Associate role
