At Lam, as an EH&S Engineer, you're instrumental in developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental safety programs and policies. Ensuring compliance with regulations, you'll perform safety inspections, conduct trainings, and oversee hazardous waste vendors and processes. Your expertise spans to life safety, workplace ergonomics, and monitoring industrial health compliance. Acting as a liaison with regulatory agencies you'll not only stay current but also reinforce Lam's commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
What you’ll do
Key Responsibilities
This position includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Regulatory Compliance & Regulatory Leadership
- Ensure compliance with Korea OSH Act, KOSHA standards and internal policies
- Maintain LMK EHS management systems and support ISO 45001 requirements
- Liaise with government agencies and support regulatory inspections and audits
Safety Programs & Risk Management
- Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Drive strong safety leadership in RMBWA, Near miss, good catch and risk identification activities
- Perform regular safety inspections for facilities, equipment, and Logistics operations
- Support Serious Accident Punishment Act (SAPA) compliance and safety governance
Logistics Safety Management (Key Focus)
- Lead safety management for Logistics operations (warehouse, material handling, transportation)
- Manage contractor safety and logistics-related risk controls
- Support safe operation of material handling equipment and related processes
Training & Safety Culture
- Develop and conduct EHS training programs for employees and contractors
- Support safety awareness campaigns and employee engagement activities
Audits & Continuous Improvement
- Conduct internal EHS audits and track corrective actions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and special EHS projects

Who we’re looking for
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial safety engineering, occupational safety engineering or related field
- Certified Industrial Safety Engineer (required)
- 8-12 years of experience in EHS or safety management
Preferred qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Logistics / manufacturing safety management
- Knowledge of Korean EHS regulations and KOSHA requirements
- ISO 45001 experience and/or auditor qualification
- Industrial Hygiene Engineer or Air Pollution Control Engineer
Skills
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and compliance management
- Ability to implement safety programs and achieve measurable results
- Strong communication skills (Korean & English preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and agility in a fast-paced work environment

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
