Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Communications Lead for the APAC region to drive our communications strategy and execution across internal and external channels, with a particular focus on supporting business growth and awareness across the region.
As Communications Lead, APAC, you will play a critical role in shaping Mistral's narrative across Asia, ensuring our vision, products and values are effectively communicated to customers, partners, media and other stakeholders. You will develop compelling messaging that clearly differentiates Mistral in a rapidly evolving AI market, strengthen our visibility across key media outlets, and support the acceleration of our business in the region.
What You Will Do
Strategic Communications & Planning

Develop and execute a standout 360° communications strategy that aligns with business objectives, strengthens Mistral's reputation, and supports growth across APAC.

Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and media coverage to identify opportunities, shape narratives, and mitigate potential risks.

Measure and analyse the effectiveness of communications programmes, using insights and data to continuously improve impact.
Media & Content Management

Manage key communications channels including PR, social media and corporate communications.

Lead media relations efforts, including proactive outreach, managing enquiries, and building strong relationships with journalists, analysts and industry influencers.

Create and oversee the development of high-quality content including press releases, executive communications, thought leadership, blog posts, social media content and supporting marketing materials.
Support Go-to-Market Efforts

Drive awareness and business impact through strategic communications programmes that support commercial objectives.

Partner closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Marketing and regional leadership teams to ensure consistency of Mistral's positioning and messaging.

Support product launches, customer announcements, partnerships and regional campaigns through effective communications planning and execution.
Spokesperson & Executive Support

Prepare and coach regional spokespeople and executives for media engagements, speaking opportunities and external communications.

Develop messaging frameworks, briefing materials and media training programmes to ensure consistent representation of Mistral.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Sales, Partnerships and People teams to ensure consistent messaging across all audiences and channels.

Act as a trusted communications advisor to regional and global stakeholders.
Stakeholder Relations

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, industry associations and media contacts.

Support executive engagement programmes and strategic relationship-building activities across the region.
About You

Proven track record of developing and executing successful integrated communications strategies across media, PR, events and digital channels, with demonstrable business impact.

Experience in high-growth B2B technology companies, enterprise software organisations, or highly innovative industries operating in competitive markets.

Strong understanding of the APAC technology landscape and an established network of media and industry contacts across the region.

Strong interest in technology and innovation; experience in AI or emerging technologies is highly desirable.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for technical, business and executive audiences.

Strong business acumen and experience partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Product and Product Marketing teams to support growth and revenue objectives.

Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders and drive outcomes in complex organisations.

Experience coaching senior leaders and executives for media engagements and public communications.

Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, rapidly evolving environment with a high degree of ambiguity.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams, functions and geographies.
