As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving Intel's financial performance and operational excellence. You will collaborate with business units and leadership teams to deliver timely, accurate insights that shape strategic decisions. From analyzing business trends to creating financial reports and recommendations, your contributions will help ensure the integrity of Intel's internal and external financial reporting. This opportunity offers you the chance to develop your expertise in financial systems, processes, and analysis while directly influencing decision-making and business outcomes.
The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:
- Participate in the monthly planning and report out of all activities involved for capitalization process Capitalization process focused but not limited to Tool Install scope, in relation to Foundry Front End and Back End activities.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency in month-end close processes and management reporting.
- Develop workflows and financial tools that bridge technical and business needs, recommending automation and efficient delivery methods.
- Performing root cause analysis to explain variances.
- Evaluate capital expenditure requirements and recommend suitable financing options.
- Provide decision-making support through ad hoc financial and key performance indicator analysis.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
- Bachelor's degree or coursing last semester in accounting/finance/business administration or related field
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and SAP.
- Advanced English level.
- Must have permanent-unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
- Previous experience in Capital or Fixed Asset Accounting Roles.
- Knowledge of capital and fixed assets accounting principles, US GAAP.
- Data analytics, automation, and knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI.
