Professional Services engage in a wide variety of projects for customers, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base and are obsessed about strong success for the Customer. Our team collaborates across the entire AWS organization to bring access to product and service teams, to get the right solution delivered and drive feature innovation based upon customer needs.

Key job responsibilities

• Helping customers architect scalable, highly available application solutions that leverage AWS services
• Architecting and developing customer applications to be cloud optimized
• Working as a technical leader along side customer business, development and infrastructure teams.

Basic qualifications
- 10+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience
- Experience developing software code in one or more programming languages (java, python, etc.)
- Experience with software development lifecycle, or experience in agile/scrum or related collaborative workflow
- Experience architecting and optimizing applications for cloud environments (e.g., cloud-native design patterns, serverless, microservices)
- Experience in customer-facing technical delivery such as architecture reviews, workshops, or consulting engagements
Preferred qualifications
- Experience facilitating discussions with senior leadership regarding technical / architectural trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation
- Experience designing, developing, and deploying business software at scale
- Experience contributing to large-scale modernization or migration programs, with exposure to multi-vendor environments and AI-driven application development
